We are rebranding

It has been such an incredible and exciting journey to change our company name from John Thompson Builders to Fairfield.

Changing our name was not a decision that was made lightly. '“Our business reputation, which is all about our commitment to high quality, is my Dad’s reputation”, says Mark. That won’t change, but companies evolve. We have long been concerned about the ‘sustainability of construction’.

Our mission to build healthier, warmer homes while reducing our footprint on the environment.

Fairfield in old English means ‘beautiful open country’. That’s what Marlborough’s beautiful landscape means to us. We want Fairfield homes to enhance the environment we live in - as well as the lives of the families who live in them.

Building healthier, warmer homes

Our vision is to build beautiful homes that are warmer and healthier, and which people will still love in a hundred years.

Fairfield has been developing systems to minimise building waste and wherever possible to use high quality recycled materials, which can reduce costs and add character and instant heritage to modern homes.

We have also been incorporating more advanced building technology into our houses - such as Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs).

Along with our stretch target of Zero Waste, we think of as ‘Next Generation Building’.
