A warm and healthy family home

Certified as a ‘Low Energy' Building’ by the Passive House Institute, this family home boasts an impressive heating and cooling demand of just 21 kWh/m2 per year to keep the home at 20 degrees all year around in every room of the house.

The Formance Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) ensure the building envelope is airtight and well insulated, whilst the MVHR ventilation system from Stiebel Eltron constantly removes stale damp air and replaces it with fresh, filtered air.

The energy in the stale air is used to warm the incoming air if it’s cold outside (or cool when it’s hot). This will ensure an even temperature throughout the house and keeps heating and colling costs down.

Using moveable exterior shutters to prevent the home to overheat in summer whilst allowing the sun to heat the home in winter.

The stunning Macrocarpa features on the ceilings, walls and beams together with the elegant white brick veneer, every detail compliments the warm, natural atmosphere of the home.
